“Drive to Win” a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Through ACDelco’s Promotion with Kurt JohnsonGRAND BLANC, MICH. — NHRA Pro Stock driver Kurt Johnson knows what it is like to win. Johnson, driver of the ACDelco-sponsored Chevrolet Cobalt, holds the longest active streak in Pro Stock by winning at least once race for 12 consecutive seasons, an honor he earned in 2006. And, he finished fifth in the 2006 overall NHRA Pro Stock championship standings, the 14th consecutive year he has placed in the top 10. Johnson hopes to add to his 35 career total victories in 2007, and consumers and service trade customers alike can win every time he does. A trip will be awarded after each time Kurt Johnson wins one of the 20 races outlined in the schedule that appears at the end of this release. ACDelco will cover travel expenses for three nights and four days to the ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals for each trip winner and a guest.
